Laughing Rats

Monday, March 3rd, 2008

One of the best radio shows currently running, Radiolab, recently did an episode on laughter. In addition to the apocryphal-sounding Tanganyika Laughter Epidemic, the show also covered the debatable existence of laughter in non-human animals. Apparently, there is a scientist who tickles rats for a living. Are the rats laughing? You be the judge.
